Exhibitor Information

The 2012 SMSA Conference also provides a unique opportunity to combine both private and public associations at the Technical Exhibit. The 2012 SMSA Executive Committee cordially invites any agency, company, or association interested in promoting motorcycle safety, transportation services, products, training or technology to exhibit at the upcoming conference.
The 2012 SMSA Executive Committee has designed the 2012 Exhibit area to give the most exposure to a few select organizations. The exhibition hall is located directly across from the conference meeting rooms, thereby providing a highly visible and accessible exhibition area, maximizing each exhibitor’s exposure to all conference delegates.  All coffee breaks and continental breakfasts will be held within the Exhibit area to ensure maximum exposure to attendees.  Please click here for more information and the application form.

New Study: No Progress in Reducing Motorcyclist Deaths
Strengthening Economy and Rising Gas Prices Don’t Bode Well

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A report released by the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) finds that no progress was made in reducing motorcyclist deaths in 2011. Based upon preliminary data from 50 states and the District of Columbia, GHSA projects that motorcycle fatalities remained at about 4,500 in 2011, the same level as 2010. Meanwhile, earlier this month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration projected that overall motor vehicle fatalities declined 1.7 percent in 2011, reaching their lowest level since 1949. Motorcycle deaths remain one of the few areas in highway safety where progress is not being made.  Read the news release here.
