The contracted sponsor is, by loan agreement, responsible for

maintaining the motorcycles that are loaned to them by the

Motorcycle Safety Bureau. The sponsors may contract with

dealerships or employ a full or part time mechanic to perform the

maintenance. The Motorcycle Safety Bureau contracts with

motorcycle repair shops for major maintenance, while owner

maintenance is handled by our staff.
