Motorists...Be Aware of Motorcycles
Motorcycles can be difficult to see in traffic. Large vehicles, such as sport utility vehicles, delivery vans and large trucks may hide a motorcycle from a driver's view. Drivers should be alert that motorcycles may join the traffic flow at any time. Drivers should respect the fact that motorcyclists have full roadway privileges and need plenty of room.

Pedestrians Have Rights, Too
Pedestrians are hard for drivers to see and have little or no protection from traffic injuries. Pedestrians should always use crosswalks and look left and right for traffic before stepping off the curb. Drivers should remember to watch for pedestrians in the roadway and be aware of pedestrians near their vehicle.
