Motorcycle Awareness Traffic Safety Campaign
The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has introduced a new traffic safety campaign aimed at raising motorist awareness to motorcycles. Through the efforts of Rob Dingman, DMV Assistant Commissioner for Transportation Safety, the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee has produced 30-second and 15-second television spots that remind drivers to "Watch for Motorcycles". The ads will be distributed statewide through the New York State Broadcasters Association and are scheduled to run throughout the summer months.
