Print Materials

A variety of print materials have been produced by states to promote motorist awareness and Motorcycle Safety Week/Month activities. The posters, brochures and other specialty items such as bumper stickers and litter bags shown, may be available from the state which originally created them. Specific information on costs and the necessary procedure to either purchase the materials in their original form, or personalize them for use in your state can be found by contacting the organization listed. The following print samples represent a portion of the materials currently being used by states to promote Motorcycle Safety Week/Month. Brochures and posters provide a cost efficient way to communicate your Motorcycle Safety Week/ Month message. The following brochure and poster concepts have been used by states to promote motorist awareness. They have been sent to motorcycle clubs and organizations, dealerships, driver education instructors, license exam stations, highway rest areas, post-secondary institutions, retail stores, restaurants and other community outlets.

 With different cover options, these brochures focus on why it is important to be aware of motorcycles, why drivers don't see motorcyclists, what situations crashes are most likely to occur in and what drivers can do to become more aware.

This brochure targets both motorcyclists and other drivers with tips on how to share the road safely. Tips include:
