Supporting Members

Supporting Members aid the SMSA in efforts to improve motorcycle safety throughout the nation. SMSA is the voice of rider education and supporting memberships are necessary for the continued success of our efforts. Anyone interested in motorcycle safety may become a Supporting Member.

Applications for memberships are forwarded to the SMSA Business Office along with dues payment.

DUES

The amount of the annual dues for each Supporting Member shall be $35, which may be tax deductible. SMSA also offers a two-year supporting membership plan.  The two-year plan offers a $5.00 discount per year.  i.e., $60.00 for two-year supporting membership.  This amount may be changed by a vote of the Executive Committee. Dues payments are sent to the Business Office.

REPRESENTATION

Supporting Members receive a complimentary copy of each Leading Edge that is published and a membership card or certificate.  Supporting Members receive one discounted conference registration fee for the annual conference as long as membership is current.

Supporting Members may not represent their personal opinions as those of the SMSA. Likewise, membership in the SMSA does not imply that the SMSA supports the views expressed by supporting members.

Take pride in your SMSA Supporting Membership. It represents, and supports, the national effort that trains over 200,000 students every year.

Memberships run from September 1 through August 31 annually.
