Emeritus Associate Members

Each applicant for membership as an Emeritus Associate member must be an individual retired or transferred from the position of State Administrator or State Coordinator of a state motorcycle safety program.

Applications for membership are forwarded to the SMSA Business Office along with dues payment.

DUES

The amount of the annual dues for each Emeritus Associate member shall be $35, which may be tax deductible.  SMSA also offers a two-year Emeritus Associate member plan.  The two-year plan offers a $5.00 discount per year.  i.e., $60.00 for two-year Emeritus Associate membership.  This amount may be changed by a vote of the Executive Committee.  Dues payments are sent to the SMSA Business Office.

REPRESENTATION

Emeritus Associate members receive a complimentary copy of each Leading Edge that is published and a membership card or certificate.

PRIVILEGES

Emeritus Associate members who serve on standing committees shall be entitled to vote on issues relating to that standing committee.  Emeritus Associate members receive one discounted conference registration fee for the annual conference as long as membership is current.
