The Executive Committee over the last several months has been working on “reinventing the SMSA”. Reinventing the SMSA was a unanimous decision made by the membership at the 2011 Annual Members’ Business Meeting. After studying several approaches, the Executive Committee decided to enter into an agreement with an independent organization that would assist and support the Executive Committee in managing the SMSA. We are very pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2012, Highway Safety Services, LLC (HSS) will be working with the SMSA to complete projects, develop working relationships with federal and national organizations and assist in the management of the Association.
