SMSA SPEAKER POLICY/VIDEO RELEASE
SMSA Speaker Policy

The National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators (SMSA) is an association of government, highway, and motorcycle safety professionals.

Conference/workshop speakers are selected based upon the value of material and its relativity to the interests of the members of this Association.  The value of these presentations must not be undermined by the use of vulgar, profane, harassing or threatening language or expressions including appearance, materials, language and expressions.

Should a speaker violate the provisions of this policy, the Association reserves the right to withhold any payments or reimbursements previously agreed upon.

If a speaker is concerned that the presentation may be in violation of this policy, he/she can present a copy of the presentation to the Executive Committee for review prior to final selection as a speaker for any Association function.

VIDEOTAPING RELEASE

For and in consideration of my engagement as a Presenter by the National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators, hereafter referred to as the SMSA, I hereby give the SMSA, their legal representatives and assigns, those for whom the SMSA is acting and those acting with their permission, or their employees or officers, the right and permission to copyright and/or use, reuse and/or publish and republish photographic pictures or video of me.  I also agree to provide to the SMSA, website ready presentations for posting to the SMSA website at the conclusion of the conference.

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photograph or video or printed material that may be used in conjunction therewith or to use the eventual use that it may be applied.

I hereby warrant that I am over twenty-one years of age and competent to contract in my one name in so far as the above is concerned.

I have read the foregoing release, authorization and agreement before affixing my signature below and warrant that I fully understand the contents thereof.
