PURPOSE

Over the years, the Government and Industry Affairs Committee has had numerous tasks assigned to it.  With the continuing evolution of the Association, it has become the main SMSA contact for government agencies and the motorcycle industry.

Specifically, the Government and Industry Affairs Committee is the contact for current corporate and professional members.  It also works towards the recruitment of new corporate and professional members, contacts professional and corporate members regarding their participation in the annual National Conference (door prizes and sponsorship of meals or breaks).  In addition, the Committee maintains contact and working relationships with corporate and professional members throughout the year.

The Government and Industry Affairs Committee consists of a chairperson and members as necessary to accomplish its tasks.
