COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

PURPOSE

The Communications Committee was recently renamed and restructured.  The purpose and direction of the Communications Committee are:

• To develop, coordinate, or execute marketing materials and/or promotional programs for motorcycle safety and awareness

• Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders for communications regarding SMSA.  Establish and manage key messages for SMSA.

• To increase the visibility and enhance key stakeholder relations through effective use of public relations.

• To assist the Executive Committee and SMSA in providing consultative services regarding marketing, communications, web site, and public relations.

COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

The Communications Committee consists of a chairperson and members as necessary to accomplish its tasks.
